What do you think about Montrose Recreational District adding a location to Colorado Outdoors?

Good evening!

More and more announcements continue to be made about Colorado Outdoors, the latest being that the Montrose Recreational District will be creating a new fitness/wellness facility to be built at the Colorado Outdoors Flex Buildings.

What do you think of the announcement? Would you use a fitness facility in the Uncompahgre River corridor? Reply on NABUR!

What do you think about getting rid of Daylight Savings Time? Reporter Cassie Knust recently posted on NABUR about her interview with District 3 candidate Scott Yates. Scott is a former Republican running on a Democrat ticket, but considers himself a centrist with conservative values (free people, rule of law and a free market). Overall, he hopes to tackle nonpartisan issues that impact every Coloradan.

But one of his top priorities? Eliminating Daylight Savings Time. Lots of other NABUR members had some positive thoughts about this approach:

Do you know where to get cheap gas in Montrose? While the statewide average hovers around $3.37/gallon according to Triple-A, Montrose County has some of the lowest prices in the state. Two stations — the Maverick and the Sinclair — are pumping gas for just under $3/gallon.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis urged Congress last week to suspend the federal gas, and in the past few months he's been working to try to temporarily suspend a gas tax hike in Colorado.

What do you hope gets done with Colorado's cut of the opioid settlement?
Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser has announced the final approval of the $26 billion opioid agreement with Cardinal, McKesson, AmerisourceBergen and Johnson & Johnson.

Money will start to become available to state and local governments this summer or early fall. Colorado will receive $385 million.
